Tip of the day...
Not HotThere's a beauty myth that needs to be busted- washing your face with hot water is NOT NOT NOT good for you! Hot water doesn't even clean out your pores better or kill bacteria- this is a myth. In fact hot water tends to remove the skin's natural oils which help protect your skin from bacteria and allergens and hot water drys out your skin. Try use cool water for the fresh, awake look and to make your skin feel A-mazing!

Look Luxe for Less.
Here are a few simple tips to looking fab without forking out the cash.1) Raid nana’s wardrobe or invest in some cheap jewelery.
Accessories are the best way to add a bit of glam. And don’t be shy, wear 4 necklaces at once.
Go for fake pearls and interesting beads. The longer the better, wear them around your neck today, or wrap them around wrist at night.
2) Mix and Match. We get into the habit of wearing the same outfits all the time. Mix your favourite jeans with a different top and a different pair of shoes and you’ll be amazed at the instant revamp.
3) Get crafty. If you have a pair of jeans that are now too short for you, cut them into a pair of shorts. In can be a little tricky but that what’s YouTube is for, type in “how to cut denim” and there’s a step by step video.
4) Second hand stores are chocker block full of vintage gems, you just have to learn how to look for them. Don’t be afraid of the yuck stuff, persevere, rummage and don’t rush.
Roy Says
Who is Birdie Bell?Birdie Bell is a socialite. That’s about all I got from Google, Wikipedia, YouTube and Twitter.
And it got me thinking to what is the actual job description of a socialite?
So then it got me thinking even further, maybe socialites are actually undercover secret agents, like the elite, lean fighting machines in all the Bond films.
Then it all started making sense. That’s why there’s no real info on Birdie Bell. That’s why Paris says such stupid stuff, to differ attention on her true identity and that explains why Birdie as a natural affliction to thigh high boots.

Dark dark winter.
Of all the many trends emerging this winter on of the biggest and easiest one to buy into has to be super-dark nail polish. Even the sweetest celebs, girls who don’t have a ‘rock chick’ or ‘goth’ bone in their body, (think Jessica Simpson and Gwyneth Paltrow) have been spotted wearing blue or black polish on their usually French-manicured fingers.
It all started when Chanel launched an oh-so-expensive, pearly midnight blue polish called Blue Satin. The fashion pack went wild and bottles sold out just about everywhere. Now, however, your nails don’t have to be dark blue if you’re to follow the trend. All dark, mysterious shades, be it deep gunmetal, pearly eggplant or a simple, glossy black, are your ticket to instant ‘It-girl’ status.
